We are excited to get back in the arena, and there's no better time than the Flying B Bull Riding Series Finals. Between COVID and snowstorms we've been challenged to get our end of the 2021 rodeo season started, but we're ready to go and we're betting these bull riders are too.

The Flying B Youth Bull Riding Series Finals will be held on Saturday, March 27th at Riata Ranch here in Cheyenne. The action starts at 1:00 pm and admission is $5 with kids under 12 years old admitted for free.

Contestants & Family: I will be sharing the picture pricing sheet here as well as on the 3H Photography website and our social media pages. All of the event images will be shared in the 2021 Flying B Series Finals Gallery on the Gallery page.

Man, I am excited about these - 3H Tees! The only change coming is the new 3H Rodeo logo will be placed on the rodeo tees, but other than that these are being printed as I type this.

I have planned to get t-shirts designed for several years, but I had an image in my head that took some time to get articulated to my great friends at Colour Graphics. My plan was always to sell them in the 3H Store, so you will be able to order them from there momentarily (click here for the store on the 3H Photography site: https://www.3hphotography.com/otheritems.html). I do have embroidered gear that I wear for rodeo & equestrian events, but I haven't figured out yet how to offer that to my fans yet.

Pricing for the tees is as follows: $25 for the tees and $30 for the long sleeves, plus a little for shipping. Of course, any size above XL will be a few dollars more. All pricing will be specific in the 3H store. Inventory is expensive, so if you'd like to get yourself one, just let me know the size and if I don't have it in stock, Colour Graphics will print them up quickly. I am excited to be shooting the first September Event at Archer, an equestrian event held this September at the Archer Complex in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This year's event is being held Saturday, September 26th & Sunday, September 27th.

The September Event at Archer is a newly sanctioned event at Archer this year which is really a testament to the incredible work done by organizer Allison Murphy and her team. This event follows The 3 Day Event at Archer which is held in August each year. Eventing is an incredible exhibition of strength, skill, and athletic ability of both horse and rider. It really is something to see and it is an event that I look forward to shooting each summer. This two day event has both Dressage and Cross-Country phases being completed on Saturday and Stadium Jumping being completed on Sunday.

The Event at Archer is an incredible exhibition of strength, skill, and athletic ability of both horse and rider. It really is something to see and it is an event that I look forward to shooting each summer. Due to COVID, this typical three day event has been paired down to a two day event with both Dressage and Cross-Country phases being completed on Saturday and Stadium Jumping being completed on Sunday.

The 2020 Flying B Invitational Youth Bull Riding Finals will be held at the Archer complex & fairgrounds on Saturday, June 14th. There will be two rounds of bull riding with Series prizes and Finals prizes being awarded. The action will start at 10:00 am and we are excited to have received approval to have spectators at this exciting event. Please come out and support the future of rodeo!

Entries open on June 1st and close June 8th. The Archer complex is located at 3801 Archer Parkway just east of Cheyenne.

2020 Cheyenne Frontier Days CANCELLED!

While I try to just share my images here and not my opinions, I have to say that I am extremely disappointed that this decision was made. For a 124 years, CFD, the world's largest outdoor rodeo has happened despite two world wars, the great depression, and at least two worldwide pandemics. I had great hopes that they would figure out how to keep at least the rodeo tradition going even if that meant no concerts, parades or carnival. I have no doubt that this was an extremely difficult decision to make, and I feel for our local businesses that survive at least in part due to CFD. I also feel for the pro cowboys & cowgirls, the stock contractors, the road crews, etc. - all the way down to us rodeo photographers. I believe I understand the thinking behind the decision, and I appreciate that public safety is of primary importance.

Please get out and support your local youth rodeos and county/state fairs that are still happening. Please also support the local small businesses in every Wyoming community impacted by this difficult decision (Cheyenne, Casper, Sheridan, Laramie, Cody, & Thermopolis).
